Loved our enjoyable stay and did not want to leave there. the staff was affable and pretty friendly. the accommodation was perfect and overall clean. This hotel was set in a central area not far from a charming pub, tower gardens which is a lovely walk and Barbican and city center. Spent our evenings in nearby Edinburgh Arms enjoying drinks and atmosphere.

The units are en suite, compact.

My double room was compact and cosy with character. The food was brilliant with variety of options.

The deluxe queen room was well-equipped with a comfy bed and offered great value for money.

Had guest room with decorating shower, tea making facilities, for example. A huge variety of options, great food. Location - magnificent and perfect, just next door to the town center, the centre of York & the Barbican and Proximate to York proper.

Got the same great value and well-equipped deluxe double room on upper level booked online, liked that. the hotel was quirky. - It had a convenient and ideal location a short walk to the city center and the city walls. - I was surprised at nearby Bison Coffee; they had some goodies and drinks.
